2014, we’ve started in a small shop selling consumer 3d printers and supplies for the Hungarian market. After selling a huge amount of 3d printers and filaments, we moved forward focusing on education and support of our costumers.. Together with Copy Depo, we have done popular and successful workshops for over 100 participants: potential resellers, dealers and technician. We also provide hardware and software training, our architect-designer co-founder has studied digital architecture at the TU Vienna and now supports the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design in Budapest in their Digital Craft Lab project. We also have a great connection to the Department of Polymer Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology, they also use our 3D printers.

During our popular 2 day workshops together with Copy Depo , about hundred people have been taught about the concepts of 3D printing and how to operate the machine and the programs required to create and generate 3D printable files. We understand that it isn’t easy at all to operate these sensitive manufacturing machines, that’s why education plays an important role in our business.

We’ve already attended on several 3d printing and architectural events in Hungary. We have had a successful 3d print exhibition at the Construma expo in April with more than 50.000 visitors during the 5 days. This year, we also will do workshops and lectures at the Budapest 3D Printing Days, the biggest 3d printing event in Eastern Europe.

Looking forward, we want to grow exponentially, so we made a partnership with a huge company and this summer we are going to open Hungary’s first 3D Print shop in a separate facility of 360m2 focusing on 3d print on-demand services, community building, education, and of course for sales for end-users. Our new place will start in July, we want to create a franchise in Hungary so all the people of the 3d community could be reached.

We believe that over the next five years, 3D printing will emerge as a major force of change in how we educate, design, engineer, manufacture and even practice medicine. While at first only available for millions of dollars, as time has gone on these machines have gradually become cheaper and cheaper. Now the average person can buy a desktop 3-D Printer for between $800 and $3,000 that can generate physical objects of decent quality. This has the ability to change our lives even more than the personal computer and the Internet have. In the same way that computers have affected everything we do that involves information, 3-D Printers affect everything we do that involves interaction with physical objects. This, as you know, is almost every aspect of our life. Every job and career path will be profoundly affected by this revolutionary technology. Companies and consumers are already using 3-D Printing in world changing ways, from object design, architecture, jewelry, dentistry to arts and mass production, the whole world is going to change caused by sustainable additive manufacturing techniques

We want to spread the word and be a part of the new industrial revolution, and want to teach makers how to use this incredible and cheap technology for making things! One of the first things to consider is “Why do we have to print every design? In fact in my experience because it is affordable and environment-friendly and makers do work harder and produce better thought out designs in trying to make sure that they can 3d print theirs. We are not a startup company, there are no investors behind us. Creating something that is a copy of a copy is simple but we chose the other way: building a community and offering affordable 3d printing solutions for consumer and educational use.
